About Flowing Hands

Movement, community and a living Okinawan tradition.

Flowing Hands is a free community practice dedicated to preserving Okinawan and Ryukyu movement traditions through gentle, accessible instruction in a welcoming outdoor setting.

Practice develops balance, posture, circulation, focus and coordination through slow, natural movement. Doug Livingston shares these principles with the community at Constitution Park, welcoming people of all ages and experience levels to participate, observe and learn.
